Unfortunately, I don't really fit any of Honda's 125cc scooters. Not on the Cub either. But at least it's a cub and not a scooter, so compromises are feasible.
I would only buy a small scooter if my wife takes a test drive and is impressed with it. But the SH is too high for her and Vision / Mode are not intended as a test vehicle by Honda (= paid for) at least this year, so they are unattractive for dealers. But that doesn't have to be the case either.
The last time I was at the dealer, I thought I would take your request as an opportunity to finally take a look at this year's portfolio. Despite 36 degrees. With two different.
The scooters up to 125 cubic meters were all available, so Vision, Mode, SH all several times in different colors, especially many modes (6 unsold at 2 dealers) the Forza only once (plus once already sold).
Also several SH150 and SH350, X-Adv 2x 2020, 1x2021. There were no unsold Forza 350 and 750 in stock, the 750 should be available from the beginning of August, the 350 from August 10th. be available.
More interesting than who can sell what or not (as I said, everyone should find out for themselves) is perhaps more my impression of fashion vs vision, as a few things were not mentioned here. First of all: everything was as expected.
The fashion is really more valuable, whether it's an adjustable shock absorber, whether it's wide, rubberized passenger pegs, whether it's a really chic, complete cockpit at a really good angle to the driver (Vision's speedometer is a bit too flat). The seat is slightly softer, but both are quite hard. The seat cover of the fashion also has a label. The lighting, of course, the engine, luggage rack, it all looks like a difference of more than 170 euros.
Jacking up is super easy here and there.
A big but: the Vision is not just for RV owners and those who prefer easier maintenance (air-cooled) and as little weight as possible: it is noticeably larger. With 47 shoes, I just fit in with SH Mode, 48 is probably also possible. The Vision has 2cm more, and giant feet can stand there too.
The handlebars also come into contact with the knees a tad less; in fashion, the steering switch on the right in particular is in the way without turning with very small steering movements. So you can feel the 20mm higher bench, the footboard is almost the same height. This results in better ergonomics for long.
In addition, you can sit far back with the vision without any problems. When it comes to fashion, the curvature towards the passenger area is annoying.
If I had to drive one of the two, these advantages are worth more than those of fashion. So I would even take the Vision for the same price. Anyone who is not exactly 1.90 m tall with long legs and huge feet will have more scooters with fashion.
You have to experience everything else yourself. At the dealer (also in Berlin). Test drives are currently only possible with the large SH.
